In addition to cutting tasks, the spine of the blade can be conveniently used to transfer chopped vegetables or meat from the cutting board.

The blade features a row of oval indentations above the cutting edge. These create air pockets that reduce contact between the blade and food, preventing ingredients from sticking during use.
