Samura Brush Block, Soft-Touch Coating, Black

The Samura brush block with soft-touch coating is a black standing knife block made of plastic. It keeps your kitchen knives together in one spot, and it is the kind of storage SAMURA's care instructions recommend: a brush block or knife holder. The block stands 225 mm high on a 115 × 115 mm footprint.

How it works

Instead of fixed slots, the block is filled with a brush. You push each knife into the filler wherever there is space, so you are not limited to one blade shape.

Storing your knives properly is part of looking after them. A proper storage system also reduces mess and keeps your work space organised.

Materials, size and warranty

The block is made of plastic with a soft-touch coating and comes in black. It is 225 mm high, takes up a 115 × 115 mm footprint and weighs 1267 g. SAMURA covers it with a 2-year warranty.

Best uses

• Keeping your everyday kitchen knives together in one place
• Following SAMURA's advice to store knives in a brush block or knife holder
• Holding knives of different blade shapes without fixed slots
• Reducing clutter and keeping your work space organised

Care and storage

Put your knives into the block clean and dry: SAMURA recommends washing knives by hand with non-abrasive materials and wiping them dry. Store them so that the blades do not touch metal items. Never test the sharpness of a blade with bare hands; use a piece of paper instead.
