Samura Brush Block, Flex Rods, Black

The Samura brush block with flex rods is a black standing knife block made of plastic. An insert of flexible rods holds your kitchen knives in one place, in line with SAMURA's advice to store knives in a brush block or knife holder. The block is 180 mm high on a 115 × 115 mm footprint.

How it works

The block has no fixed slots. Its insert is made of flexible rods, and you slide each knife in between them wherever there is room. Because the rods are flexible and there are no set openings, you are not tied to one blade shape.

Storage is part of looking after good knives. Keeping them together in one block also reduces mess and keeps your work space organised.

Best uses

• Storing your kitchen knives together in one place
• Storing knives in a brush block or knife holder, as SAMURA's care instructions advise
• Holding knives of different blade shapes between flexible rods
• Keeping your worktop tidy and your work space organised

Care and storage

SAMURA recommends storing knives in a brush block or knife holder so that the blades do not come into contact with metal items. Wash your knives by hand with non-abrasive materials and dry them before they go back into the block. Never test the sharpness of a blade with bare hands; use a piece of paper instead.
