Samura Brush Block, Bamboo Style

The Samura brush block is a standing knife block that keeps your kitchen knives together in one place. Inside, a plastic brush filler holds steel and ceramic knives of many sizes and types, from small vegetable knives to a large santoku or European chef's knife. The block is made of stainless steel and plastic and comes in Bamboo-style packaging.

How it works

The filler is a plastic brush. You slide a knife into it where there is room, and the brush keeps the blades apart, so they do not touch each other and the cutting edges are protected from contact and damage. The brush takes knives in a wide range of sizes and types, so the block is not limited to one blade shape or length.

The structure of the brush lets air pass freely inside the block, which helps stop moisture from collecting.

The block is made of stainless steel and plastic. It stands 220 mm high on a 110 × 110 mm footprint and weighs 1571 g. It comes with a 2-year warranty.

Care and storage

SAMURA recommends storing knives in a brush block or knife holder, so that the blades do not come into contact with metal items. Wash your knives by hand with non-abrasive materials and wipe them dry before you put them back in the block. Never test the sharpness of a blade with bare hands; use a piece of paper instead.
